PHILPS holds the highest number of patent applications from the European Patent Office
Shanghai - Holland Chinese Royal PHILPS announced the day before, the company for two consecutive years to become the world within the scope of the European Patent Office (EPO) to submit patent applications up to the enterprise. The 2016 patent application rankings published by the European Patent Office in March 7th showed that PHILPS submitted 2 patent applications and 568 items last year.
In addition to the European Patent Office patent applications up to global business, PHILPS in the "medical science", "mechanical and electrical equipment, energy" and "measure" the three major scientific and technological frontiers were topped. Compared with other fields, the European Patent Office has received the most applications in the medical technology field.
PHILPS once again become the largest patent applications in Holland enterprises, the application for all patents accounted for 1/3 of Holland enterprises patent applications. PHILPS has made a great contribution to Holland's booming innovation power.
At present, PHILPS's intellectual property portfolio includes 79000 patents, 49000 trademarks, 86000 exclusive design rights, and 4400 domain names.
